Anna Maria Chlumsky was born in America. As a child she started acting. Her first role was Vada Sultenfuss from the films My Girl and My Girl 2 The second movie My Girl 2 followed shortly after. In 1999, after her initial roles were completed, she went on a short absence to finish the requirements for college. Anna Chlumsky was born on December 3, 1980, in Chicago Illinois to Nancy and Frank Chlumsky Jr. Her mother worked as a flight attendant while her father works as a chef. Her mother is a model and singer, while her father plays Saxophone. At the age of 10 months, a child, she modeled for the Marshall Fields ads. In her early twenties, her parents divorced and she was then raised by a single mother. At the age of 10 months, a young girl, she modelled in Marshall Field ads.
